
Charley Young
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Charley Young is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and public installation. Her work explores themes of trace and ephemerality through site-based interactions. To date, Young’s work includes large-scale monoprints of historic building facades, intimate portraits of vanishing mountains and frottage rubbings of arctic icebergs.
Charley holds a Masters in Fine Arts (2014) from the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine and a Bachelors of Fine Arts (2008) from NSCAD University in Halifax.
