Lyse Lemieux

Lyse Lemieux lives and works in Vancouver, BC, where she has been engaged in an experimental drawing practice for over 25 years.

During her thirty year career Lemieux has exhibited in public and private galleries in Canada and in Europe including The Canadian Cultural Centre in Rome, La Commune di Perugia in Perugia, Republic Gallery in Vancouver, Papier, Art Fair in Montréal, Equinox Gallery in Vancouver and the Musée Marsil in Montréal.

Her work will be included in a national survey exhibition about the expanded field of drawing this summer at Oakville Galleries in Ontario, at Tatjana Pieters Gallery in Ghent Belgium in the fall, at Republic Gallery in Vancouver in November and in a solo exhibition featuring site specific wall drawings at the Richmond Art Gallery in British Colombia in 2016.
